Ingredients:
One box chocolate cake mix.
(you can use half for a small cake and full pack for a bigger cake)
Follow the recipe and instructions behind the box. If you are using half the mix, use half the Ingredients.
For the coconut layer :
I used a 397g can of condensed milk and added 4 tbsp of normal milk to it. Warm it till it gets a little runnier and then add about 1.5 to 2 cups of dessicated coconut.
Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Ganache:
Ganache ratio is always 2:1. I used 350 mls of thickened cream, warm it up and add 180g good quality dark chocolate. If you use milk chocolate, your cake will be overly sweet.
Layer the coconut mixture over cooled cake and let it set in fridge for half an hour. Pour cooled ganache and refrigerate overnight.
