Описание:
The Greek word roots miso- and -phile are very productive in English. They create words that express opposite concepts of hatred, mistrust or love, appreciation. Words such as “misogyny” and “misanthrope” are fairly common, but other words are less common such as “misogamy” and “sinophile.” How about “Philadelphia?” Does it use -phile in its name? Watch the video to learn about it.
CORRECTION/NOTE:
Philosophy = philo (loving) + sophia (knowledge, wisdom). I colored in the wrong letter in the video.
Biblioteca = librarian. Bibliotheca = library.
