In Episode 9 of the RV-15 build series at Airspeed Acres, it’s time for one of the messiest — and most important — jobs in the entire wing build: sealing the left fuel tank.
If you’ve ever worked with ProSeal, you know exactly what you’re getting into. Sticky, messy, unforgiving… but absolutely critical to building a leak-free fuel system. In this episode I walk through the process of preparing the tank components, mixing and applying the sealant, and getting everything assembled before the clock runs out on the working time.
This is one of those steps where preparation and process matter just as much as the actual work.
