If you do three sets of specific adductor exercises two times per week, you can improve hip stability, pelvic control, and reduce unnecessary stress on your lower back.
The adductors, commonly called the inner thigh muscles, do much more than bring the legs together. They help guide how the thigh bone moves in the hip socket, assist with pelvic stability, and influence how much the lower back has to compensate during everyday movement and training.
In this video, I explain:
• What the adductors actually do
• How they affect hip and pelvic control
• Why weakness here often shows up as instability or uneven movement
• How strengthening them supports walking, standing, squatting, and lifting
I’ll be sharing a simple, structured routine later this week that shows exactly how to strengthen the adductors properly, with beginner-friendly setups and progressions.
