many Americans remain determined to pursue homeownership with nearly half (49%) planning to buy a home in the next five years. Younger generations are leading this pursuit, with more than 2 in 3 Gen Zers (70%) and nearly as many Millennials (63%) planning to buy a home in the next five years. Citi August 2024

For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16.

The Love of Jesus changes us from the inside out.

Question: When you think of building the future, do you think about how you will get enough wealth? Do you worry about the materials you will need to grow your family?

There was a man named Zacchaeus who was a chief tax collector, and he was rich. 3 He was trying to see who Jesus was, but he was not able because of the crowd, since he was a short man. (Luke 19:2–3, CSB)

“He desired to experience Jesus”

When Jesus came to the place, he looked up and said to him, “Zacchaeus, hurry and come down because today it is necessary for me to stay at your house.” (Luke 19:5, CSB)

But Zacchaeus stood there and said to the Lord, “Look, I’ll give half of my possessions to the poor, Lord. And if I have extorted anything from anyone, I’ll pay back four times as much.” (Luke 19:8, CSB)

The love of Jesus changes us from the inside out.

“Today salvation has come to this house,” Jesus told him, “because he too is a son of Abraham. 10 For the Son of Man has come to seek and to save the lost.” (Luke 19:9–10, CSB)

Question: Do you feel like Zacchaeus? Do you have this sense that something is missing? Are you worried about building a safe future for your family – worried about the right house, neighborhood, getting the right job, whatever it is that the world tells you need to achieve the “American Dream?”

The love of Christ

For God loved the world in this way: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16, CSB)

Receive His Love
You have to make a determination.

Make a Determination to Follow Jesus.

13 “Enter through the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the road broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who go through it. 14 How narrow is the gate and difficult the road that leads to life, and few find it. Matthew 7:13–14.

Walk it out.

Do not be conformed to this age, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may discern what is the good, pleasing, and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2

Or will you build your life on the love and power of Jesus Christ
