I begin with a bold floral arrangement—daisies, cosmos, sunflowers, and an oversized white calla lily leaf with green veins that quietly takes over the scene.
The background space is intentionally left open, waiting for the real presence to arrive.
A white chubby cat appears behind the flowers, lying twisted and completely relaxed,
its expression awkward, funny, and impossible to ignore.
The cat rests on a stack of books, carrying a sense of elegance that never quite works.
This painting plays with contrast—order and chaos, knowledge and laziness, beauty and humor.
Sometimes turning things upside down is the most honest way to look at them.
