Join us as we follow the construction of the new wooden roller coaster, set to open at Alton Towers in spring 2018. Manufactured by Great Coasters International, the ride will be located on the site of the old log flume, a ride that was demolished during late 2016.
In this update we share an aerial view of the construction from the Skyride and take a look at how the coaster compares in height. As work progresses on the roof of the station building we also share footage of the roof tiles going into place. We take a look at the construction taking place next to the main theming structure with workers currently creating more wooden bents ready to be installed. We look forward to sharing this exciting build with regular updates here on Theme Park Worldwide.
