The APS Field Guide is a quick access point for field staff to get answers to many questions, including appropriate questions to ask during interviews for different allegations, how to document interviews within the OK APS computer system, the steps staff need to follow when obtaining a guardianship, and many others. Developed the with the assistance of supervisors from different areas of the state, APS Leadership, and technology experts, the APS Field Guide is a tool intended to help standardize the investigatory process for new hires and seasoned staff, and free up supervisors’ time for developing staff, going to the field with staff, and working on community partner relationships.
