Influencer is a Dufour 56 Exclusive listed with YOTI on Sydney Harbour.


Launched in Sydney in just 2017, Influencer was commissioned in Sydney for her very experienced owner for the purpose of fast, comfortable and easy cruising. The yacht is set up for bluewater cruising and presents in impressive condition. As a result of her owners brief, the yacht boasts simply a huge list of both factory upgrades and locally fitted extras.

Influencer is a three cabin, three head layout. The large owner’s cabin is forward and features a massive island berth plus the head and shower spaces are completely separated. The galley is located forward and spans the yachts full beam. This creates separation for the owner’s cabin plus allows the saloon space to enjoy the widest section of the yacht. As a result the saloon and lounge spaces are expansive. The saloon table lowers electrically to become an additional double berth or comfy day bed. A dedicated nav station / control centre or even coffee table / work space is to starboard. There are two large double aft cabins, each with access to heads and showers. The Volvo 110Hp is easily accessed under the companion way stairs.

The cockpit is class leading with a massive boarding or swim platform which allows entry into the dinghy garage. An outdoor galley with BBQ and sink is neatly hidden in aft seating. Walk through access to the cockpit wide and safe. The upgraded black Carbonautica wheels look great. Instruments are also upgraded with plotters at each helm plus of course auto-pilot. The bow thruster (a jet thruster) is controlled at the starboard helm as is the electric throttle. There are three electric winches and six winches in total. All sail trim can be completed from the helms allowing for easy shorthanded sailing and for non-sailing guests to relax in the large forward section of the cockpit. There is a dodger, large folding bimini and also side and rear shade covers. The raised toe rail or bulwark (with neat LED lighting) adds safety and also means the stanchions and lifelines are raised. There is a massive sail locker forward and a fixed bow sprit which allows the anchor to be ready to use while flying spinnakers or the code zero. The sail wardrobe includes a new mainsail, self-tacking jib, overlapping genoa, Code Zero, asymmetric spinnaker and storm jib (on a quick release removable inner forestay).

There is a Fischer Panda generator, air-conditioning to the saloon and all cabins and also a wind generator. The water maker makes Influencer truly blue water ready. An extensive list of spares is included.

Electronics and communications include VHF and HF radios, AIS, RADAR, Iridium Go satellite communication, satellite tracking, thermal imaging camera, and an Ericsson wifi router with twin broadband booster aerials.

Influencer has been regularly rig checked, serviced and was anti-fouled in just November 2020.

Replacement cost with this level of upgrades and equipment lands at around $1.4M which makes Influencer and exciting proposition and she is ready now. With a flexible sail plan, multiple shorthanded features and an extensive cruising inventory, Influencer is both suited to simple day sailing with family and friends or literally crossing oceans.
