Описание: During our search for the next cruising sailboat, there have been only a few that have gotten Tambi really excited. The Kadey Krogen 38 is one of those boats.

The size, layout, storage, galley and staterooms are all things that are highly important to Tambi. Me on the other hand, I'm more concerned about rigging, steering, structural integrity, mechanical & electrical systems. The Kadey Krogen 38 seems to deliver on most of these important aspects.

One way that the Kadey Krogen 38 falls short is that they all seem to have one particular achilles heel - they leak like sieves! This is evident by the rotten wood beneath port-lights, inside cabinetry, and inside the wooden knees that engage with the chainplates.

So do the advantages of the Kadey Krogen 38 outweigh the drawbacks? I know Tambi really loves the layout, storage, and cabins. A huge component of successful long-term cruising is owning a boat that makes the woman happy. Based on that fact alone I think this sailboat could be a solid contender for our future boat.
