Описание: पॉपकॉर्न म्हणलं की आपल्या डोळ्यांसमोर फक्त पिक्चरला गेल्यावर मध्यांतरात आपण खातो त्या मक्याच्या लाह्या येतात. पण आजच्या जगात पॉपकॉर्न हा ‘पॉर्न’चा कोडवर्ड आहे हे तुम्हाला माहितीय? धक्का बसला ना? पॉपकॉर्न हे नाटक बघताना असे धक्के वारंवार बसतात. कारण हे नाटक पॉर्नच्या झपाट्यानं वाढत असलेल्या इंडस्ट्रीवर थेट भाष्य करतं. या नाटकाचं ठळक वैशिष्ट म्हणजे हे केवळ पॉर्नचे दुष्परीणाम सांगून थांबत नाही तर पॉर्नच्या व्यवसायाची काळी बाजू उघड करत ही इंडस्ट्री कशी आपल्या दारापर्यंत येऊन पोचलीय याची जळजळीत जाणीव करून देतं. या विषयाचं गांभीर्य बघता पॉपकॉर्न हे नाटक अधिकाधिक लोकांपर्यंत पोचावं या उद्देशानं आम्ही या नाटकात मध्यवर्ती भूमिका साकारलेले प्रसिद्ध अभिनेते आनंद इंगळे आणि गुणी अभिनेत्री गौरी देशपांडे यांना आमंत्रित केलं. तेही या संवेदनशील विषयावर बोलण्यासाठी ‘देहभान’वर यायला लगेच तयार झाले आणि त्यातून आजचा हा विशेष भाग आकाराला आला. नक्की बघा!

When we hear the word "popcorn", we usually think of the snack we enjoy during a movie interval. But did you know that in today’s world, “Popcorn” is also used as a code word for p*rn? Shocking, isn’t it?
While watching the play Popcorn, such shocks come repeatedly. This powerful theatre production directly comments on the rapidly growing p*rn industry. What makes this play stand out is that it doesn’t stop at highlighting the harmful effects of the adult industry; it goes deeper to expose the dark business realities behind it and forces us to confront how it has reached right up to our doorsteps.
Considering the seriousness of this subject, and with the intention of reaching this play to a wider audience, we invited renowned actor Anand Ingale, who plays a pivotal role in the play, and talented actress Gauri Deshpande to our platform Dehbhan. Both of them agreed to speak openly on this sensitive topic, which led to the making of this special episode.
