Visit Ait-Ben-Haddou

Описание: The unesco world heritage site Ait Ben-Haddou is a beautiful Ksar located 200km south of Marrakesh. On the caravan path from Marrakesh to Timbuktu, it was used to control the trade routes in the 11th century.
With its earthern colors and battlement-like houses, it is one of the most beautiful old cities you can visit in Morocco.

You can visit Ait Ben-Haddou from Marrakesh on any of the tours that go to the Sahara, or book a dedicated day trip. The sights include multiple movie backdrops as Game of Thrones, Gladiator, James Bond or Lawrence of Arabia.
You don't need a ticket to enter Ait Ben-Haddou, but you are required to pay for parking. Today, the population only includes 4 families, with most people having moved to the opposite site of the river.
To explore the city, you don't really need a map, as the layout makes traversing the city very easz.
