Failed Fisker Ocean washer fluid sensor replacement, evaluation and resevoir flush

Описание: This is follow up video to replacement of the Fisker Ocean washer fluid resevoir sensor replacement video. The prior sensor was replaced with a new upgraded sensor. Unfortunately, there is marked corrosion with loss of the lower sensor tine. My suspicion is that some type of galvanic corrosion is occuring as the sensor lost the same lower tine as before while the upper sensor tine is like new. My solution for now is to place a new sensor as a plug, and simply disconnect the connector harness. I will check back in a few months. If the sensor tines are unchanged this would confirm that the problem lies with the wiring harness and grounding or some amount of current leading to selective loss of the sensor tine. I did not have a low washer fluid warning despite this sensors condition. There was also debris in the bottom of washer fluid resevoir and I recommend flushing this out as some report washer nozzle clogs and it is probably due to this.
