The Columbia Lily is a large member of the Lily family found in the PNW. It grows in moderately sunny to sunny slopes, with well drained, dry soils. this is one of the classic PNW wildflowers that i love finding from mid-elevation forests to near alpine meadows. This fully-blooming specimen was one of only a few ready to go. Found right above the densely-flowered Curry Gap, with magnificent Kyes Peak of the Monte Cristo Group in the background.
