Trying to illustrate the basics of the STOP! Low Oil Pressure VW light. Common on FSI engines. This tutorial (if you can call it that) is on a 2007 Passat BPY 2.0T.
Coles notes- don't believe every post on the net that tells you the oil pump/balance assembly is not working and you car is going to die immediately. I did, and now I have a spare oil pump...
This is what you would describe as amateur video, it was cold, not enough light and not enough hands to do everything.. Gives you a whole new respect for AutoDoc VW tutorials... Hope this helps somebody.
