Pomfret Curry CKP Style
'Ambat Tikhat Pampletcha Kalvan' is one of the most favorite CKP recipes. Serve it with piping hot steamed rice and you have a complete meal ready. Quick, healthy and delicious.
Ingredients for Coconut Paste:-
Step 1:-
Grind ¾th Cup Coconut with ¼th Cup water. The paste should be smooth.
Step 2 Tamarind Pulp:-
Soak½Cup Tamarind/ Imli in water and strain the Pulp.
Step 3 Green masala:-
½Cup Coriander Leaves
1 Ginger
25 Garlic Cloves
3 Green Chillies
Step 4:-
Marination for Pomfret/Paplet 750 gms/3 Kedium sized Green masala paste
2 tbsp Kashmiri Red Chilli Powder
1 tsp Turmeric/ Haldi powder
2 tsp Salt or to taste
4 tbsp Tamarind Pulp
Marinate the Pomfret thoroughly.
Heat ¼th Cup Oil and add 20 Crushed Garlic Cloves. Let the garlic turn brown. Flip And Cook the garlic. The curry is to be prepared on a high flame. Now add the fish pieces and quickly saute. This is the most important part. Swirl and mix. Pomfret Curry is ready. Add Chopped coriander leaves. Serve hot with steamed rice.
