AlEn Products: Two bottles of Fresh Scent Pine-o-Pine

This is my first using Pine-o-Pine and what delight it was. This product definitely lives up to the hype. I just love everything about this product.

I love it’s beautiful golden honey 🍯 brown color and silky consistency. I would describe this product as the love child of Xtra Pine and Hexol. When I first smelled it from the bottle, I was surprised at how much it smelled like Xtra Pine but sweeter and stronger. I really feel like this is what Xtra Pine would be if it had more pine oil.

Pine-o-Pine creates low level frothy foamy suds. I usually like a lot of suds but I enjoyed the sudless action this product provided. It’s like a satisfaction I can’t even describe. The suds made such sizzly crunchy sounds when squeezed with the grouts. It was similar to the crunchy sounds you hear with paste squeezed sponges but not as loud.

I squeezed for a good amount of time and the suds wouldn’t really build up. They didn’t sizzle out per say either. The loudest sizzles I’ve ever heard from a pine come from Domestos.

During the hot water rinse, the smell really came alive. It smelled so much like Hexol when you add the hot water. I had to stop and turn away a few times because the aroma was so intense. It smelled like hot gasoline 😩.

At the end, I was left with some nice pine milk. The color of the pine milk looked like the color you get when you out too much milk and cream in coffee. There was a little blue residue on top of the foam. I couldn’t figure out if it was from my blue gloves or from some blue paint still stuck in the ovals.

My favorite pine milk to date comes from Hexol. I just love how white the milk color is.

I may have to try Pine-o-Pine on other sponges. The Proplus Grouts are so durable and strong. They did not tear or lose too much firmness with this product.

I used a Lowe’s Wheat Brown Car Sponge with Hexol once and I did not like the feeling after the product was applied. The sponge felt so flimsy, like marshmallow jelly and it ripped of course.

Finally, the return was one and half bottles. I really thought it would be more but I guess the sponges soaked up half a bottle or maybe I should’ve let the sponges sit to get back more product 🤔.
