NCAAF 2025 W08 Nicholls vs Stephen F. Austin

Описание: It’s week 8 of the 2025 NCAAF season and SFA Lumberjack football has won 4 straight games, has found themselves ranked at #25 in the STATS poll (while receiving votes in the AFCA coaches’ poll), and is coming off of their bye week as we enter the second half of the season. SFA is now 4-2 (2-0) and is looking for a big win against the Nicholls State Colonels (1-5, 1-1). Nicholls, since upsetting the preseason #5 ranked UIW Cardinals in Week 0, has struggled to find their footing and has entered a 5-game losing streak against some top-level FCS opponents and 2 FBS opponents. Although their record is poor, Nicholls is a scrappy team that features a fierce running game, a talented defense, and incredibly physical play. Sam Vidlak, SFA’s quarterback, was injured in last season’s match up against this team and didn’t finish the year. It was, debatably, the point where SFA went from a dark horse playoff contender, to missing the playoffs. Now SFA enters seeking revenge as they can bolster their conference hopes, while ending Nicholls run at the SLC title.
