Описание: Week 10 of the 2025 NCAA Football season is underway, and the SFA Lumberjacks (6-2, 4-0) have found themselves on a 6-game win-streak that has carried them to #20 in the STATS poll and #23 in the AFCA Coaches Poll. If SFA finds a win, it would be their first 7-2 start since 2010, their first 5-0 conference start since 1989, their first seven game win-streak since 1995, and the 40th win for Head Coach Colby Carthel at SFA. Their opponents are the UT Rio Grande Valley Vaqueros (6-2, 2-2), who have only fallen ranked Southeastern Louisiana and Lamar squads in their first season of play. UTRGV should be no easy out as they have the statistical best offense in the SLC and gave Southeastern and Lamar all they could handle in their matchups earlier in the season. The conference may be out of reach, but UTRGV is receiving votes to be ranked in both major FCS polls and is seeking their first major statement win against a ranked team at this level of the game. If SFA wins however, it makes the last 3 games of the season incredibly interesting as they would be looking towards not just playoffs, but an SLC title. That’s what this match up comes down to, two 6-2 squads looking for a playoff push, one seeking a statement win in its first season of play, the other looking to take one step closer to a conference title.
