020518 DPS MOTORCYCLE PURSUIT AND FATAL CRASH

Описание: Just after midnight Oak Ridge, North Police spotted a motorcycle as it passed them on I-45 near the Woodlands on an almost empty freeway doing 130 mph. Before they could initiate a pursuit the bike was gone. Seconds later a DPS unit on I-45 spotted the bike and engaged I a pursuit. The driver continued at speeds close to 130 until he exited SH 105, he then rendered the freeway and exited again before entering one more time. As he exited FM 3083 just north of Conroe the driver failed to negotiate a curve hitting the curb. The bike went airborne before tumbling several times. EMS and Conroe Fire responded to the driver who was not responsive. He was transported to Conroe Regional Trauma Center where he was pronounced deceased. The motorcycle was stolen from Harris County and the driver who was on parole did have a warrant for his arrest.
