In this documentary explore, we visit Bosley, Cheshire, and the stretch of Tunstall Road forever changed by the devastating Bosley Mill explosion of July 17th, 2015.
Just after 9am that morning, a series of explosions tore through the wood treatment mill that had operated in the village for generations. The blast and fire tragically claimed the lives of four workers and caused significant structural damage to nearby homes — some standing just metres away from the site.
What was once an ordinary working community was altered in an instant.

In this film, we document what remains:

The former offices that stood at the heart of the mill site.
The terraced houses affected by the blast.
The mansion at the end of the road, now standing in silence.

This is a exploration of the aftermath of one of Cheshire’s most serious industrial disasters in recent history a road left frozen in time.
