This is the start of our three week trip to Thailand!
On our first day, after checking into our hotel The Riomonte Residence, we headed out to explore the local area.
I loved seeing the local people just going about their daily routines while we wandered through the back streets and alleys near the hotel. We hardly saw any other tourists around, which made it feel like a more authentic glimpse of everyday Bangkok life.
Our room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were amazing. We spent four quiet, relaxing nights at this little oasis in Bangkok — stick around until the end of the video to see more.
We picked this spot because it’s close to the main bus and train stations, and getting a Grab from here to anywhere in Bangkok was super easy. We’ll be sharing more videos of what we got up to before heading over to Koh Tao.
