Описание: January 25, 2026 temperature in Chicago struggled to get out of single digits. With the howling wind, it felt like -20 to -30. On top of that 4-5 inches of snow fell in the morning in what was at times a white out. The furnace had broken down at the Pilgrim Chamber Players home at the Highland Park Community House. Trinity Episcopal Church generously opened their doors to us the night before so that we didn’t have to cancel our concert. A crowd of about 60 showed up to support us in this special community. ATLYS string quartet played the music of Ari Fisher brilliantly and then I came on stage to join them in Chris Beroes-Haigis stunning new 2022 work, “Spoken in Waves” for solo cello and string quartet. I hope you enjoy the performance. It was quite a day.
