The Story of Esther. A Persian King who is left looking for a replace to a Queen who no longer wants the position. In unexpected circumstances a young Jewish woman living in Persia with her Uncle Mordecai is now given a chance to royalty. An evil man who is second in command to the king is angered when a Jewish man refuses to bow to him. He plots to persuade the king to destroy a "certain people" who refuse to obey the king's command. Unknown to the King that this certain people are the Jewish remanent living throughout Persia. And his decree has sentenced the entire Jewish race to be wiped out. And the date of the decree is determined by casting of lots.
The Persian law forbids anyone, even the Queen, to enter the King's presence not summoned. And it is up to Queen Esther to risk her life to expose the plot of this wicked man before the king. For perhaps she has been brought into the kingdom for such a time as this. Will she do it? And how does this true story parallel with the past century? How does modern day Iran and the death of Ayatollah Khomeini connect to this story? Find out!
