Take 11, I have finally remembered to film the yoghurt process from start to finish! I couldn't be more pleased with the results, thick, creamy and not too tangy. Here's what learnt from heating my UHT 48c rather than 43c, firstly didn't need to add milk powder for thickening and secondly it was ready in less than 8 hours, instead of the up to 24 at 43c. Also being thicker it strained in less time also, so I will be using this method from now on.
Having got all that sorted out, I have decided to make the next batch in either a small slow cooker or a heavy base pot in the oven. I will put both these result up together so you can see that you don't need a multicooker/instapot do da dandy!
I use organic UHT (ultra high treated) milk because it doesn't upset my tummy on chemo, nor does it contain a billion additives.
I do suggest using UHT milk to get your hand in, it cuts down on a step which is great.
I strain my yoghurt through a tight weave dishtowel, that notifications
bell so you never miss future content. Also, guys, share any content from the channel, you never know who may be looking for just what you're watching.
