Welcome to Salt and Sanctuary, the side-scrolling action RPG by indie game developer Ska Studios.

It's a good idea to load up on fire defense for this fight because the Kraekan Wyrm loves to blow fire on you. The dragon is weak to lightning so bring any bolt damage you can bring. Lightning Barrage works great. Blocking is a waste of time on this fight so set up your character two two-hand your weapon or to have a wand in the off hand.

Almost all of the Kraekan Wyrm's attacks are focused at ground level. Jumping is a great way to avoid damage. Jump in the air and use the standard attack repeatedly. You can hang in the air and swing your weapon several times before you land again. The strong attack will smash you back down to the ground immediately and isn't as useful.

Most of the Kraekan Wyrm's attacks can be dodged. If he attacks while grounded you can roll through him. When he flies up off screen he will drift off to the left or to the right. This clues you in on which way his aerial assault it coming from. Center yourself in the middle of the boss room but be prepared to quick run to the side the dragon is coming from. This gives you your best chance to dodge the attack entirely. It's also a good idea to heal when he flies up. You are safe for a few seconds and the healing process will continue to take effect long after the dragon completes his attack.
