Aperung – A Short Film About Memory & Forgiveness

Описание: Aperung is an independent dramatic short film exploring memory, forgiveness, and the complexity of the mother–daughter relationship.

Set during a shared hike through a familiar landscape, the film blends documentary-style interviews with cinematic storytelling. Through quiet conversations and emotional reflection, a daughter confronts unresolved questions from the past:
Can we forgive the people who shaped us?

This short film is part of my cinematography portfolio, focusing on natural light, atmospheric visuals, and intimate storytelling.

Aperung was created as the graduation film for the Master’s program in Digital Arts at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria.
