Gurney Drive is a popular seafront promenade located within George Town, Penang, Malaysia. It is a George Town's second Central Business District due to the massive development of skyscrapers and shopping malls

Gurney Drive is also famous for the street cuisine at the seafront's hawker centre and has been listed as one of the 25 best streets worldwide

As of 2016, the shoreline off Gurney Drive is being reclaimed for the purpose of creating a public recreational park - Gurney Wharf


GURNEY WHARF - A Penang State Project - A reclaim of 760 acres for the Seri Tanjung Pinang Phase 2.

Total 131 acres off the Gurney Drive foreshore for the Penang State Government at its own cost

Gurney Wharf concept masterplan contains four distinct character areas
1. Seaside Retail F&B
2. Water Gardens
3. Beach
4. Coastal Grove


The Seaside Retail F&B will have water-fronting public promenade, seafront dining facilities including the island’s famed hawker fare and a pier walk.

The Water Gardens area will have lush gardens, ponds and wetlands water gardens with innovative storm water filtration systems.

Beach area, the direct access to the waterfront that includes a public beach as well as a public promenade.

Coastal Grove, there will be a skate park for the youth.


Andaman - The E&O’s newest address and a first of its kind in Malaysia

Andaman is designed to offer the perfect balance between peaceful island life and exciting urban living. The masterplanned island is unique in its conception, with green living and community building serving as the heart of its design

Andaman has been designed to be easily accessible from the main Penang island. Two strategically-located bridges make driving, cycling or even walking between Andaman and Penang Island an easy commute.

A bridge to link from Andaman directly to the new Gurney Wharf.

The connection to Gurney Wharf enables easy access to George Town, Pulau Tikus, and the business districts. Another bridge connecting Andaman to Seri Tanjung Pinang, providing easy access to Tanjung Tokong, and Batu Ferringhi.

Andaman has sustainable practices and principles built into its very core. Every building on this urban island has been designed to meet Green Building Certification standards.

The whole island has been designed to incorporate natural resources with innovative infrastructure.

Andaman will have a green area of over 90 acres

In just Phase 1 alone, there will be more than 200,000 plants, consisting primarily of local varieties

The island also features a number of public greens and parks, walkways, and playgrounds
