In this video, I respond to comments/questions about the impact on our 2023 Volkswagen iD.4 Pro S RWD electric SUV’s range when traveling with our new roof box. I ran three tests which included about 50 minutes of combined city and highway driving: the first test was driven without the roof box, the second test was driven with the roof box facing forward, and the third test was driven with the roof box facing backward. I did my best to control variables and environmental factors but keep in mind that none of them could be eliminated entirely. That said, I believe they were minimized enough so that my results are reliable.
