From the Radiology Scholars Certificate Program (RSCP) YouTube Video Curriculum Radiology is a rapidly evolving field and integral component within nearly every field of medicine. To better prepare medical students for their future careers independent of their specialty interests, the Radiology Scholars Certificate Program (RSCP) was designed as an experiential learning module to augment the pre-clinical medical school curriculum at the Wake Forest School of Medicine (WFSOM). RSCP promotes and recognizes achievement in fundamental radiology concepts while (1) enhancing students’ proficiency when interpreting medical imaging, and (2) increasing student competitiveness for the residency Match. With heightened and early exposure to radiology as a field, we envision that participants will develop improved provider-radiologist communications, more appropriately utilize diagnostic tests, and harbor enhanced clinical attitudes toward radiology as a specialty to overall improve patient care.
