Описание: In this part of the experiment we vary the thickness of Pb (lead) between a Geiger counter detector and cobalt-60 source of gamma (and beta) rays to see how well lead works as a shielding material. At the end of the video, the graph and calculation required to determine the thickness of lead required to block all of the radiation from the source disk is calculated.
