Keeping life simple in my tiny living quarters with small things that bring joy, or, hygge. Getting better at the minimalist life. Baking cookies, watering my many houseplants, crunching autumn leaves while walking on a trail, reading, propagating plants in water. No talking, just relaxing unintentional ASMR and gorgeous sunsets.
I used this gluten-free recipe for the cookies:
1/2 cup salted butter
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
one large egg
1 1/2 cups gluten-free all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup of chocolate chips
