Making Communities Safer: Holly’s DRR Volunteering Experience

Описание: Holly from the United Kingdom volunteered with VIN’s Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) Education Program for 6 weeks in our Okhaldhunga placement. During her time in the community, she was actively involved in visiting different schools and engaging students through practical learning.

She shared valuable ideas on emergency drills, taught students how to prepare an emergency backpack, and provided basic first aid and safety awareness. Her interactive approach helped children and teachers better understand how to stay prepared and safe during emergencies.

Holly’s dedication and hands-on contribution made a meaningful impact on DRR education in rural communities. We are truly grateful for her commitment and enthusiasm.
