This is the easiest way to cook sushi. In this video, Sinapon cooks chirashi sushi with whitebaits "shirasu fish" and perilla leaves as toppings.
Ingredients:
Toppings: eggs, macrophyll or perilla leaves, white bait "shirasu fish", nori seaweed, sesame seeds, wasabi, soy sauce, (you can put anything else, salmon etc.)
Vinegared rice recipe "Metric":
Serves 2:
270g of rice before cooked
270ml water (or little less than you usually cook)
38ml or 2.5 tbsp rice vinegar (grain vinegar as substitute)
1 tbsp sugar
3/4 teaspoon salt
*for 1.5 Japanese rice cups of rice
Serves 3:
360g of rice before cooked
360ml water (or little less than you usually cook)
50ml rice vinegar (grain vinegar as substitute)
1 and 1/3 tbsp sugar
1 teaspoon salt
*for 2 Japanese rice cups of rice
Serves 4:
540g of rice before cooked
540ml water (or little less than you usually cook)
75ml rice vinegar (grain vinegar as substitute)
2 tbsp sugar
1 and 1/3 teaspoon salt
*for 3 Japanese rice cups of rice
Vinegared rice recipe "US customary":
Serves 3:
1.5 cups of rice before cooked
1.5 cups of water (or little less than you usually cook)
3 tbsp and 1 teaspoon rice vinegar (grain vinegar as substitute)
1 and 1/3 tbsp sugar
1 teaspoon salt
In this video, Sinapon cooked 1.5 cups of rice for two.
