Buildings Tier List Discussion! (ONI: Spaced Out!)

Описание: I have about 1450 hours of experience playing Oxygen Not Included and thought it would be a good idea to make a tier list of how I feel about the Buildings in ONI: Spaced Out! As there's almost 300 different buildings in the game, this list is quite long and I can't cover absolutely everything here. I recorded this video live with Twitch chat at   / erisia_gaming   so that we could get some discussion going on buildings I've used less than others. With the help of chat, I think we discussed most of the relevant points for each building.

Some buildings you literally can't avoid (like ladders and tiles), but others are optional (like plastic and metal tiles) and there are different cases where you might want to use these. Some buildings do a very specific task, but some are much better at their respective task than others (e.g. Liquid Tepidiser vs Space Heater). And some buildings aren't worth building as they steer players into bad practises when the problems the buildings aim to solve are best solved in other ways (e.g. Algae Terrariums, Gas Filters). I made this list so that I could convey which buildings I think are worth prioritising over other solutions when you're starting your colony, and which should generally be avoided unless you have no choice.

This video is very subjective and is my personal opinion on the different buildings in the game. Let me know if you have any thoughts on buildings that you like more or less than me! There are some buildings I haven't gotten around to building yet, so I've included these in a "No Strong Opinion" tier. Comments in how useful you find these buildings in the late game would be very useful for helping to round this list out! I've included some other things there like AND and OR gates, stuff that doesn't really make sense to tier.
