Protein Toasties
Ingredients
For the Pesto
Garlic Cloves - 2-3 (large)
Extra-Virgin Olive Oil - 3 tbsp
Parmesan Cheese - 3 tbsp
Fresh Basil leaves - 1 cup
Salt to taste
Toasted Walnuts - 1 /4th cup
Lemon juice -1 tbsp
Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Toppings for the toasts
Sour Dough Bread
Burrata Cheese
Cherry Tomatoes
Arugula Leaves
Crushed Black Pepper
Peanut Butter
Sliced Apple
Pomegranate seeds
Sliced Banana
Honey
Cinnamon Powder
Homemade Hazelnut Spread
Hung Curd
Sliced English Cucumbers
Chilli flakes
Avocado
Black Sesame Seeds
Method
-In a mixer grinder jar, add the garlic cloves & grind well.
-Now add extra-virgin olive oil & grind again.
-Add parmesan cheese & grind. Add basil leaves & blend.
-Now add salt , walnuts & grind to a fine paste.
-Remove in a bowl & garnish with more olive oil & toasted walnuts.
-For the toasties, you can use the above mentioned ingredients & create different versions of choice.
