When I started at St. Catherine's Children's Hospital, they gave me five rules:
1. Never enter Room 237 alone after midnight
2. If a child says they see someone, believe them and leave
3. Don't look at the shadows after midnight
4. Never turn off the nightlights
5. If a child asks you to stay until sunrise, you must do it
I thought it was a joke. Then I met the Shadow Lady.
She's been collecting dying children since 1924. And she's always hunting.
