Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat was established on 23rd March 1889. Hadhrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as) was sent by Allah as The Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi to spread the true teachings of Islam and the Holy Quran and serve Islam around the world. After his demise, Khilafat started according to the prophecies to lead worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat. Nowadays, Hadhrat Mirza Masroor Ahmad (atba) is the 5th Khalifa and head of the worldwide Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat.
Mr. Muzaffar Ahmad Durrani delivered some matters about the spread and growth of Ahmadiyya in East Africa in a special meeting in the presence of His Holiness, Hadhrat Khalifatul Masih IV (ra) in August 1999.
