00:00 - i. La résurrection des morts (The Resurrection of the Dead). Modéré
Ébranlement, sonnerie de trompette, appels de la rapture à la résurrection; puis les morts se levènt (thème ascendant) et vont au devant du juste Juge (le même thème descendant). Angoisse universelle – Clameurs : “Pardonnez, Ô Christ, à Vos serviteurs, pour qui aux tribunal de la clémence du Père – Marie notre patronne, prie.” (Hymne de la Toussaint)
Tremours, trumpets resounding, calls from the transformation to the resurrection; then the dead are raised (ascending theme) and go head before the righteous Judge (the same descending theme). Universal anguish - Clamours: "Forgive, O Christ, Your servants, for whom in the hosts of the mercy of the Father - Mary, our patroness, prays." (Hymn of All Saints)

06:06 - iv. Cantique à l'Agneau (Canticle to the Lamb). Modéré 𝘢𝘥 𝘭𝘪𝘣. - Vif
Deux thèmes essentiels : Sanctus de la Messe des Anges (Cantique des Anges) et psaume “Misericordias Domini in æternum cantabo” (cantique des hommes).

The full title of this work, as per the title page, is as follows: « Paraphrase (pour la Fête de tous les Saints, le jour des Morts, les Dimanches 24º après la Pentecôte et 1ᵉʳ d'Avent) [pour] orgue ». It is however instead referred to briefly as the « Paraphrase sur le jugement dernier » or simply as « Paraphrase » (whether in French or English). It was published in 1946, a full seven years following its composition, by Henry Lemoine in Paris.

Observing the differences between the œuvre (especially organistically) of Claire Delbos (affectionately 'Mi') and her husband and fellow composer Olivier Messiaen, her 'Zouvier' (who devised the registration, sans doubt for the organ of the Church of the Holy Trinity, and edited, perhaps even arranged the work), is quite astonishing. Though Delbos was not an organist but a violinist by musicianship, its textural and harmonic densities are further amplified by the cavernous acoustics of its instrumental habitat - one of the paramount churches in the Czech Republic - which assuredly expounds upon the physical and emotional character of this rare and overlooked piece and its interpretation. Both the works of Delbos and Messiaen overflow with the spiritual and liturgical influence of their shared devotion to the Roman Catholic faith.
It was premièred in a recital delivered the composer's husband on 14 March 1939 at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Paris, where he held the position of titular organist of the great organ. This recital was part of a concert series sponsored by the La Sérénade musical society and Darius Milhaud; its programme not only unveiled Delbos' apocalyptic work but demonstrated an eclectic repertory: selections spanned the work of Nicolas de Grigny, Francis Poulenc, Henri Sauguet, and was furthermore the world première of the complete version of Érik Satie's Messe des pauvres (Mass of the Paupers). The Paraphrase received sharply polarising reviews, with one of its most ardent defenders being Jean Langlais.
