Описание: Jean-Jacques Grunenwald shows us here that the music of Pierre du Mage can be played on this Cavaillé-Coll organ absolutely true to style, because this organ has such a high proportion of Clicquot stops. At the same time, the tonal realization of Arthur Honegger's chorale with a variety of different timbres is possible in an exemplary manner. The great improvisation of the récital seamlessly follows Honegger's chorale stylistically and is absolutely fascinating. Lento and Passacaglia are built on the same theme. The Passacaglia is marked by a ravishing crescendo.
