Here tells the story of the ‘Huntress’...

‘Huntress’ tells the tale of a young boy in an ancient village in the Scottish highlands who grows up hearing tales and stories of the Huntress and warnings to never enter her forest lest he be hunted down as prey. As the boy grows to be a man he begins hearing the Huntress’ voice singing songs in his dreams till he is compelled to leave home and wander to the end of the great valley of lochs where her deep, dark forest dwells. It is there he climbs atop the tallest tree in search of her till he spies her resting upon the fell. It is at that moment she clocks him. As the hunt begins and before he knows it, he’s racing through the forest with arrows in flight shooting past his head, and with the closeness of death, time slows down to that very moment where the Huntress succeeds, and just as she is about to strike on her prey, the man stops her in her tracks and confesses his conquest of love and that he came in search of her upon hearing her song of birds and drum in his sleep which beckoned him. Alas the Huntress replies that she is the elemental of the forest and is bound to it as its protector till the end of days and could only wish for a mortal life where she could love another and discover what lies beyond her realm of the deep, dark forest. The man is spared and makes it home with a broken heart, though he continues to listen for her songs in his sleep in hope that they would unite in another life and another time when the Huntress’ spell could be broken and true love could be found.’
