Our China road trip continues on Hainan Island 🌴
In this episode, we drive from Cheng Mai to Danzhou, covering about 110 km along the coast.
With a typhoon approaching, we prepared seriously — stocking up on food and supplies for several days — and decided to wait it out in comfort. We checked into a Hilton hotel with panoramic windows and even a balcony, just to add a little extra thrill to the experience.
At the very last moment, the typhoon changed its trajectory and didn’t hit us as hard as expected. We were lucky this time — calm weather instead of chaos.
But the story isn’t over yet.
The typhoon will meet us again… in the next episode.
