Core stabilisation is the foundation of a healthy body and therefore a stable Qi Gong practice. There is a common idea that simply practising Qi Gong will make everything work, but Qi takes a long time to build, and that process is deeply affected by the overall condition of the body.
If the structure is weak, unstable, or injured, the practice is limited. A strong, able core supports the spine, protects the joints, and allows Qi Gong to actually do its job.
This video covers the core exercises that have genuinely worked for me after dealing with a back injury from a young age. It took years to find a sequence that was sustainable and effective, and I hope it helps anyone who takes the time to practise it.
