Radial Deviation
Sit with your elbow and forearm supported on an elevated surface, wrist and hand resting past the edge of the surface, and fingers making a fist with thumb-side resting up. Moving only from your wrist, lift the thumb side of your fist up toward the ceiling, then slowly lower back to starting position.
You can hold a small dumbbell (or other light-weight household item) in your hand for resistance if instructed to do so by your physical therapist.
