The cold and the rain has finally left our region and we are now enjoying early spring weather.
Our bats in care are also enjoying lazy days in the warmth and many hours are spent grooming, arguing and learning each day.
We are currently housing around 25 Little Red flying-foxes and unfortunately, these must wait until the Reds return at the end of the year before we can release them all back to the wild.
Red Rudolf is a wildie who has been rehabbing with us after being rescued off a barbed wire fence in late summer.
Now flying beautifully, his turn for release back to the wild will have to wait for now.
