Most tourists don't see the gritty side of Mazatlan. They are led through the streets that are kept clean and inviting. But you don't have to go far to see the great needs of so many here. There are so many opportunities to help, and I have found that expats, snowbirds and even shorter-time visitors are eager to help. Just watch the Mazatlan facebook groups and you'll see plenty of ways to help. In this video, I talk about one way - through the efforts of the Vineyard Church and in particular their Compassion Tour. Visitors go on all kinds of tours, but this is a tour can change your life. So listen in, and also consider how you might be more hands-on involved in helping the needy.
