Every Saturday morning 8 am to 12 pm (November through April), Plazuela Zaragoza turns into one of Mazatlán’s most enjoyable events: the Mazatlán Organic Market. This isn’t a souvenir stop or a cruise-ship setup — it’s a real local gathering.
You’ll find fresh organic produce, homemade breads, cheeses, jams, salsas, honey, coffee, baked goods, and handmade crafts — most of it made or grown by the people standing behind the tables. Add in live music, street food, kids running around, dogs lounging in the shade, and you get the vibe: relaxed, creative, and very Mazatlán.
It’s part farmers market, part neighborhood hangout, part cultural snapshot. Locals come to shop, tourists come to wander, and nobody’s in a hurry. Grab a coffee, listen to the musicians, talk to the vendors, and take your time.
If you want to see a side of Mazatlán that isn’t resorts or restaurants, this is it.
