It was an epic week for the barn renovation. The interior load-bearing walls are all finished. I'm using a thicker brick for the walls. A new load-bearing wall structure has now been erected along the entire length of the old barn. In the section where the apartment will be, I opted for a chestnut beam. Now what's left to do: All the small walls, or should I go into the garden first?
