Where did the year go? If you're wondering how we got to December so fast, you're certainly not alone!
This month's Sound Remedy video was one of the most interesting and challenging I've ever recorded. I was in a beautiful Orangery outside of lovely Norwich. The setting was heavenly, and the acoustics were truly angelic.
But there was one catch: unrelenting background noise.
After many attempts, I realised I couldn't fight the external distractions. So, I surrendered and I accepted that the noise was supposed to be there.
Then it came to me that the purpose of this recording wasn't to achieve sonic perfection, but to help train our focus. By using the bowls and my voice to draw us inward, past the surrounding noise, to that place of silence and inner peace.
This month, as the holiday rush swirls around, I invite you to try this lesson in focus.
