🎾 This racket is insane 🤯 Yonex VCore 8.0

Welcome to another episode of the Fifth Set. Today I had the chance to test out the new Yonex VCore series 8 and I have to say, I was super impressed with this new racket. The VCore is the spin oriented racket in the Yonex lineup, and there are a number of changes between the new series 8. and the prior series 7.

I was immediately surprised by how easy it was to swing the racket on the groundstrokes from the baseline. I usually play with a EZone but I didn't really feel like I lost any power with the VCore, but I got a fair bit more spin and therefore had better shape on my shot. Volleys felt incredible with the VCore which is not something I expected tbh! And serving was also comfortable but I would probably say on the serve I still prefer my EZone.

I am very tempted to change my setup and play with the VCore full time! In the video, I was testing out the VCore 98 305g and VCore 98 Tour 315g. Would love to also test out the VCore 100 variations before deciding for sure.
